Are there fees for late rent payments?

There are no separate late payment fees.

If a rent payment is 14 or more days overdue, interest may be charged at 3% above the Bank of England base rate. This is calculated from the date the rent was due until the date the payment is received.

If you think your rent may be late, contact the Morro team as soon as possible. It is much easier to help when the team knows what is happening early, rather than after the payment has been missed.

Persistent arrears can lead to formal action, so please do not ignore reminders or wait for the issue to build. A calm, honest conversation is the best first step.
