Can I make changes to my home?
Yes, you can make small changes that help your home feel like yours, as long as they do not damage the apartment or affect the building.
Minor personalisation is usually fine without permission. For example, you can hang lightweight pictures or decorations using removable fixings, such as Command strips, as long as they are removed carefully and do not leave marks.
Anything beyond minor personalisation needs Morro’s written consent before you start. This includes decorating, changing fixtures or fittings, fixing items to walls with nails or screws, replacing floor coverings, installing additional appliances that need fixing into place or making any change to the fabric of the home.
Before making a change
- Check whether it is minor and fully removable.
- Avoid anything that could mark, damage or alter the apartment.
- Contact the Morro team if you are unsure.
- Wait for written approval before starting any work that needs consent.
If an unauthorised change is made, you may be asked to return the home to its original condition at your own cost. A quick check with the team keeps things simple.
