Can I pay rent from an international account?

Yes. You can pay from an international account, but please allow enough time for the payment to arrive.

International bank transfers must be made in GBP. Depending on your bank, the transfer may take several days to clear, and exchange rates or international transfer fees may apply. These are set by your bank, not Morro.

When making the payment, please include your unit number and surname as the payment reference. This helps the team match the payment to your account quickly, especially if the payer name differs from the resident name.

Your first month’s rent can be paid by bank transfer or card through the payment portal before your tenancy begins. Ongoing rent is collected by direct debit as standard, so if you are using an international account, contact the Morro team before move-in to check the best way to set this up.

If you are unsure what details to use, or when to send the payment, speak to the team before transferring funds.
