Do I need permission to make changes to my home?

Yes. You’ll need written permission from Morro before making any changes beyond small, removable personal touches.

Minor personalisation, such as hanging lightweight items with removable fixings, is usually fine as long as it does not mark or damage the apartment. For anything more permanent, please contact the team before you begin.

Changes that need written consent include painting, wallpapering, replacing floor coverings, changing fixtures or fittings, fixing items to walls with nails or screws, installing anything that affects the building’s systems or making any alteration to the fabric of your home.

If work is carried out without approval, you may need to reinstate the original condition at your own cost. Asking first keeps things simple and avoids any surprises when you move out.

How to request permission

  • Contact the Morro team through bymorro.com, the Morro App or Front of House.
  • Tell us exactly what you’d like to change.
  • Include photos, measurements or product details if helpful.
  • Wait for written consent before starting.

If you’re unsure whether something counts as a change, just ask. We’ll be happy to guide you.
