How do I set up utilities and services?
Most essential utilities and services are already taken care of at Morro, so there is very little for you to set up when you move in.
Your rent includes Wi-Fi, water, gas and electricity. You do not need to contact utility providers or open separate accounts for these services.
You will need to arrange a few personal services yourself:
- Council tax: register with the local council for your building once your tenancy begins.
- TV licence: arrange this if you need one for how you watch TV or streaming services.
- Contents insurance: recommended for your personal belongings, as these are not covered by the building’s policy.
To get online, connect to the building’s Wi-Fi network and follow the setup instructions provided in your building handbook or the Morro App.
