How long is a home held after I pay a holding deposit?

Once your holding deposit has been paid, your chosen Morro home is held while your application is processed.

This gives you time to complete referencing through Homeppl, Morro’s third-party referencing provider, and for the team to prepare the next steps once referencing is complete.

The home will usually remain reserved while referencing and contract preparation are moving forward. To keep this on track, respond to any requests from Homeppl or the Morro team as soon as you can, and make sure the information and documents you provide are accurate and complete.

If the process takes longer than expected for reasons within your control, such as delays in sending documents or responding to queries, Morro may set a reasonable deadline for completion.

The team will keep you informed throughout. If your circumstances change, or you think you may need more time, contact Morro as early as possible so they can advise on the best next step.
