How often do I need to pay rent?

Rent is payable monthly in advance.

This means each payment covers the month ahead, rather than the month just gone. Your payment is due on the same date each month as your tenancy start date, and the exact amount and due date will be shown in your tenancy agreement.

There is no option to pay weekly or quarterly as standard. Once your direct debit is set up, your monthly rent will be collected automatically on your usual due date, helping everything tick along quietly in the background.

Your first month’s rent is paid before your tenancy begins, through the payment portal by card or bank transfer. Any holding deposit you have already paid will be credited against this first rent payment.
