What costs are not included in my rent?

Some costs are not included in your rent and will need to be arranged separately.

You are responsible for:

• Council tax, which you’ll need to set up with the local council for your building
• TV licence, if you need one for how you watch television or streaming services
• Contents insurance for your personal belongings
• Laundry, where facilities are paid for through the relevant laundry app or provider
• Optional services, such as additional professional cleaning, storage or parking where available

Your rent does include Wi-Fi, water, gas and electricity for normal household use, so you do not need to set up separate utility accounts for those services.
