What do I need to do before moving in?
Before your move-in date, it is worth getting a few essentials in place so your first day feels calm and straightforward.
Make sure your damage deposit and first month’s rent have been paid, and that your direct debit is set up for ongoing rent payments. Your tenancy agreement will confirm what is due and when.
You will also need your Right to Rent documents ready to present in person. This is usually your original passport and, if applicable, your visa or immigration documentation.
Take a little time to read through the documents saved in the Morro App, including your tenancy agreement, EPC certificate, electrical installation certificate, inventory, pet policy and gym information. They are there to help you settle in with everything clear from the start.
We also recommend arranging contents insurance for your personal belongings, as these are not covered by the building’s policy.
If anything is unclear before you arrive, contact the Morro team or your building’s Front of House team. They will help you get ready for the day you step through the door.
