What should I look out for when viewing a home?
A viewing is your chance to picture how the home would feel day to day.
As you look around, think about the things that will shape your everyday routine:
- Layout and size: Does the space work for sleeping, relaxing, working and storage?
- Natural light: Notice how the home feels at that time of day, and ask about aspect if light matters to you.
- Storage: Check wardrobes, kitchen storage and any extra storage options in the building.
- Kitchen and bathroom: Look at the appliances, fittings and how easy the spaces feel to use.
- Noise and privacy: Consider the position of the home, nearby roads, corridors and shared spaces.
- Shared spaces: Think about whether you would use the lounges, co-working areas, gym, cinema room or outdoor spaces.
- Access and security: Ask how entry, keys, post, parcels and visitors are managed.
The Morro team will be with you during the viewing, so ask anything as you go. Small details often make the biggest difference once you are living somewhere.
