What types of changes are allowed?

Small, removable touches are usually fine. Anything that changes the fabric, finish or fittings of your home needs Morro’s written consent before you start.

As a guide, you can usually personalise your home with lightweight items using removable fixings, such as Command strips, as long as they are removed carefully and do not leave marks.

Changes that need permission

  • Painting, wallpapering or changing wall finishes.
  • Replacing or altering floor coverings.
  • Changing fixtures, fittings or appliances.
  • Fixing items to walls, ceilings or floors with nails, screws or bolts.
  • Installing anything that affects plumbing, electrics, ventilation, heating or cooling.
  • Making any structural alteration or change to the building’s fabric.

If you’d like to make a change, contact the Morro team through bymorro.com, the Morro App or Front of House with the details. Photos, measurements or product links can help us review the request.

Please wait for written approval before starting. If a change is made without consent, you may need to return the home to its original condition at your own cost.
