When do I need to pay the holding deposit?
You pay the holding deposit when you decide to proceed with a specific Morro home.
This is the point where you are ready to reserve that home and start the application process. Once the £300 holding deposit has been paid, the home is taken off the market while your application is processed.
Paying the holding deposit also starts the next step: referencing through Homeppl, Morro’s third-party referencing provider. Homeppl will then contact you with the information and documents needed for your application.
Before paying, make sure you are happy with the home you have chosen, including the rent, move-in timing, home type and any practical details such as pets, parking, storage or accessibility needs.
If you are still choosing between homes, or your circumstances are not straightforward, speak to the Morro team first. They can help you understand your options before you reserve a home.
