Are there any costs associated with transferring?

There may be costs linked to transferring to another Morro home. The exact amount depends on your circumstances, the home you’re moving to and what needs to happen to set up the new tenancy.

If the new home has a different monthly rent, that rent will apply from the start of your new tenancy. There may also be administration costs for preparing a new tenancy agreement or processing the transfer. The Morro team will confirm any costs before you commit, so there are no surprises.

We’ll also explain how your current tenancy, rent payments and deposit will be handled. In some cases, the existing deposit arrangements may need to be updated or resolved as part of the move.

Before you decide

• Check whether any admin costs apply.
• Make sure you understand the timings for ending your current tenancy and starting the new one.
