Can I sublet my home?

No. Subletting is not permitted under your tenancy agreement.

This means you must not let, license or hand over your home, or any part of it, to another person. This includes short stays, longer arrangements, informal agreements with friends or family and listing your home on any short-term rental platform.

Your home is for the people named and approved on the tenancy agreement. Allowing someone else to live there without permission can put your tenancy at risk and may create safety, insurance and legal issues.

If you need to be away for an extended period, please let the Front of House team know if your home will be unoccupied for 21 days or more. Your tenancy responsibilities still apply while you’re away, including rent payments, care of the home and keeping the apartment secure.

If your circumstances have changed

  • Contact the Morro team before making any arrangements.
  • Tell us what has changed and how long you expect to be away.
  • We’ll explain your options and the next steps.

You can reach the team through the Morro App, Front of House or bymorro.com.
