Do I need to inform Morro if I’m away?
Yes. Please let the Front of House team know in writing if your home will be unoccupied for 21 days or more.
This helps us keep the building safe and secure, and makes sure the right information is on hand if there is an emergency while you’re away. You can tell the team through the Morro App, in person at reception or via bymorro.com.
There are also a few simple things to think about before you leave your home vacant. Make sure windows are closed, appliances are left safely, rubbish has been removed and any food that may spoil has been cleared out.
If you have been away for seven days or more, please run the taps and flush the toilet when you return. This helps refresh the water system and manage Legionella risk.
While you’re away
- Your tenancy responsibilities still apply.
- You must not sublet your home or allow someone else to live there.
- If your plans change, let the team know.
