How do I dispose of bulky items?

Please do not leave waste in corridors, shared spaces, lifts or outside your apartment door.

Rubbish should be taken directly to the designated bin store or waste area for your building. This helps keep the building clean, avoids smells and pests, and keeps corridors and escape routes clear for everyone’s safety.

Leaving bags, boxes or unwanted items in communal areas can create a trip hazard and may breach the house rules. It can also make shared spaces feel less cared for, which is not the kind of home anyone wants to come back to.

When disposing of waste, please:

• Tie rubbish bags securely before taking them to the bin store
• Flatten cardboard boxes before placing them in recycling
• Use the correct bins for recycling, food waste, general waste and specialist items
• Ask before disposing of bulky items, as these may need separate arrangements
