How do I let visitors into the building?
Visitors can use the intercom at the building entrance to call your apartment.
When they arrive, they should select or enter your apartment number at the intercom. The call will come through to you, and you can speak to them before granting access. At buildings using app-based video entry, such as the Comelit system, you may be able to see and speak to your visitor through your phone before opening the door.
Once you let a visitor in, they may need to follow the building’s internal access route, including any second intercom or lift access process. In some buildings, lift access is only enabled for the floor linked to the resident who granted entry.
You can also meet visitors at Reception if that feels easier, especially if it is their first time visiting or they are bringing something with them.
For everyone’s safety, visitors should be accompanied by you in shared spaces and communal areas. Please do not share your fob, access code or app access with visitors. If you are unsure how your building’s intercom works, ask the Front of House team.
