How do I remove someone from my tenancy?

If someone needs to be removed from your tenancy, please speak to the Morro team before making any arrangements. This is a formal change to the agreement and needs to be handled clearly for everyone involved.

Removing a tenant requires the agreement of all parties: Morro, the person being removed and any remaining tenant or tenants. In some cases, a new tenancy agreement may need to be issued for the people staying in the home.

We’ll also need to make sure any deposit arrangements and financial responsibilities are properly resolved. This may include rent, outstanding payments or how the deposit is held once the tenancy is updated.

What to do next

  • Contact the Morro team through bymorro.com, the Morro App or Front of House.
  • Tell us who is leaving and who will remain in the home.
  • Wait for written confirmation before treating the change as agreed.

Please don’t make informal arrangements between residents. We’ll guide you through the right steps so the tenancy stays accurate and protected.
