How long does the application process take?

The full application process, from paying the holding deposit to signing your tenancy agreement, usually takes around 5–10 working days.

The exact timing depends on how quickly referencing is completed and how promptly documents are provided. Referencing is carried out by Homeppl, Morro’s third-party referencing provider, and typically begins once your £300 holding deposit has been paid.

To keep things moving smoothly, make sure the information in your application is accurate and respond to any requests from Homeppl or the Morro team as soon as you can. Clear, complete documents help avoid follow-up questions and delays.

If you are applying with another adult, or using a guarantor, each person will need to complete their own checks. This can affect the overall timeline.

Once referencing is complete and satisfactory, your tenancy agreement will be prepared for signing. After that, the team will guide you through the final payments and move-in arrangements.
