Is smoking allowed in my home or the building?

No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside Morro homes or anywhere within the building.

At The Altham, the building is entirely smoke-free. This means no smoking or vaping in apartments, balconies, terraces, shared spaces, corridors, lifts, stairwells or any communal area.

This applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes and any other smoking or vaping products. The rule helps keep the building safe, clean and comfortable for everyone, and also reduces fire risk.

If you need to smoke or vape, please go outside through the main entrance and move away from the building, entrances, windows and ventilation points. Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly and do not leave litter outside the building.

Smoking or vaping inside the building may be treated as a breach of the tenancy agreement. Any damage, odour removal or extra cleaning caused by smoking may also be charged through the deposit process.
