What condition should I leave my home in?

Please leave your home in at least the same condition as it was at the start of your tenancy, allowing for fair wear and tear.

Your move-in inventory will be used as the reference point when the team completes the checkout inspection. This means the home should be clean throughout, all Morro furniture should be in its original position where possible and there should be no damage beyond normal everyday use.

Before you hand back your keys

• Clean every room, including floors, surfaces, windowsills, cupboards and skirting boards.
• Clean the kitchen, including appliances, worktops, sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
• Clean the bathroom, including the shower or bath, toilet, basin, mirrors and tiles.
• Remove all belongings from the apartment, cupboards, storage areas and shared spaces.
• Check furniture and fittings are present and in good condition.
• Report any issues before you leave, especially if something needs attention.

General wear and tear is expected. Damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or changes made without permission may be handled through the deposit process.

If you are unsure what needs doing, arrange a pre-checkout inspection with the team before your move-out date.
