What happens if my application is unsuccessful?
If your application is unsuccessful, the Morro team will contact you to explain the outcome and talk through what may be possible next.
The next step will depend on the reason the application was not approved. If the issue is linked to affordability, you may be able to continue with a guarantor, provided they meet the requirements and pass their own referencing checks.
If the application cannot move forward, the team can discuss whether any other options are available. This might include a different home, a later move-in date or waiting until your circumstances change.
The position on your holding deposit will also be confirmed at this stage. In some situations, the holding deposit may be retained, for example if false, misleading or materially inaccurate information was provided, or if the Right to Rent check was not passed.
If you are worried about anything before applying, contact the Morro team through bymorro.com. It is always better to ask early.
