What is planned maintenance?

Planned maintenance is scheduled work that helps keep the building safe, comfortable and running as it should.

It is different from a repair you report yourself. Rather than responding to something that has broken unexpectedly, planned maintenance is arranged in advance to look after the building, its systems and shared spaces.

This can include things like:

  • Servicing heating, cooling and ventilation systems
  • Fire alarm testing and other fire safety checks
  • Lift inspections
  • Regulatory checks required for building safety
  • General building upkeep, improvements or inspections

If planned maintenance may affect your home, access, shared spaces or building services, Morro will let you know in advance. Notifications may be sent through the Morro App, by email or displayed in the building.

Some planned works may need access to your apartment, such as servicing equipment inside your home. If that is the case, the team will explain what is needed and how access will be arranged.
