What should I check when I first arrive?

When you first arrive, take a few minutes to check that everything is as expected in your new home.

Start with the essentials: make sure your keys or access fob work correctly for your apartment, corridor, building entrance and any shared spaces you should be able to use.

Inside your home, check that the furniture, appliances and fittings match your inventory. Test the heating, hot water, lights, plug sockets and main appliances, including the hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave where provided.

Look over the condition of walls, floors, doors, windows, bathroom fittings, kitchen surfaces and furniture. If you notice marks, damage, missing items or anything that does not match the inventory, add notes and photos to your Inventory Hive report within the review window.

If something needs fixing, report it through the Morro App or speak to the Front of House team. For urgent issues, such as a leak, loss of power or heating problem, contact the team straight away.
