What should I do if my key or fob stops working?
If your key or fob stops working, speak to the Front of House team at Reception as soon as you can.
They can check whether the fob needs to be reactivated, reprogrammed or replaced. If you are locked out, do not worry. Reception is available 24/7, so someone will be there to help you regain access.
Fobs can sometimes stop working if they become damaged or demagnetised. To help avoid this, keep your fob away from mobile phones, credit cards, bank cards and other magnetic items where possible.
If the fob works for some doors but not others, let the team know which access points are affected. For example, tell them if it opens the main entrance but not your corridor, apartment or shared spaces. This helps them understand whether the issue is with the fob, your access permissions or a specific reader.
If your fob is lost or you think someone else may have it, report this straight away so it can be deactivated for everyone’s safety.
