Where am I allowed to smoke?

Smoking and vaping are only permitted outside the building, away from entrances, windows and ventilation points.

Morro buildings are smoke-free inside. At The Altham, this means smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in the building, including apartments, balconies, terraces, corridors, lifts, stairwells, shared spaces and communal areas.

This applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes and any other smoking or vaping products. The rule helps reduce fire risk and keeps the building clean, calm and comfortable for everyone.

If you need to smoke or vape, please leave through the main entrance and move away from the building before doing so. Be considerate of neighbours, visitors and anyone entering or leaving, and dispose of cigarette ends safely and responsibly.

Smoking or vaping inside the building may be treated as a breach of the tenancy agreement. Any damage, lingering odour, smoke staining or additional cleaning caused by smoking may also be charged through the deposit process.

If you are unsure where smoking is permitted outside your building, speak to the Front of House team. They will show you the best place to go.
